What is implant treatment?
Implant treatment is a modern dentistry method applied by placing artificial roots made of titanium on the jawbone instead of missing teeth. The prosthetic teeth placed on these artificial roots restore both the aesthetic appearance and the chewing function to the natural teeth.

In which situations is implant treatment applied?
Implants can be used in many scenarios, from a single tooth deficiency to a state of complete edentulism.
Below are the most commonly preferred conditions for implant treatment:
In case of single tooth deficiencies, closing the gap without damaging the neighboring teeth
Supporting bridge prostheses in long edentulous cavities
Provided fixed prosthetic support in cases where all teeth are missing
Cases where prosthetic retention is reduced due to jawbone melting
Complete edentulous solutions such as All-On-4 and All-On-6

What should be considered before implant treatment?
Bone structure should be evaluated: Bone volume is measured by CBCT (conical beam computed tomography).
Gum health should be protected: If there are gum diseases before treatment, they should be removed.
General health is important: Uncontrolled diabetes, blood clotting disorders can affect treatment.
Smoking should be restricted: Smoking reduces implant success during the recovery period.
How is implant treatment applied?
Implant treatment in family teeth progresses in 5 main stages:

| 2. Jawbone Preparation | If necessary, bone graft or sinus lifting procedures are performed. |
| 3. Implant Placement | Under local anesthesia, the titanium screw is inserted into the jawbone. |
| 4. Healing Process | Between 2-6 months, the implant is expected to fuse with the bone. |
| 5. Fitting the prosthesis | Porcelain or zirconium coating is placed on the implant. |

Implant Types and Coating Options
Single tooth implant – It is applied only for a missing tooth.
Multiple implants – To close multiple tooth cavities.
ALL-ON-4 / ALL-ON-6 – Fixed denture solution in complete edentulousness.
fast implant – Tooth extraction and implantation on the same day.
Coating options:
porcelain veneer – Closest to natural tooth appearance.
zirconium coating – High durability and aesthetics.
metal-supported porcelain – For durability in the back teeth.
Things to consider after implant
Brushing teeth at least 2 times a day
Use of dental floss, interface brush and mouth shower
Limiting smoking and alcohol consumption
Avoiding harsh foods
Go to regular doctor checks
